Can You Name This Vintage Military Vehicle?

Here at Capitol Garage Inc., we love Thursday because, according to social media tradition, it's a day for remembering the past. We're particularly intrigued by the way the @Jeep Twitter team observes Throwback Thursday, so we wanted to share their post with you. Take a look at the picture in the following tweet. Does this Jeep vehicle look familiar to you? We have a pretty good idea, so take a guess and we'll tell you our answer, below.

Interestingly, this vehicle is old enough that it doesn't even bare the Jeep name, yet. Its known as a Willys MB, and it was in production during WWII, from 1941 to 1945. After the war, it evolved into a CJ-2A, a predecessor to the famous CJ-5 and CJ-7 models. Finally, the CJ line was eventually discontinued in favor of the now legendary Wrangler.
